今日はThunderbird School of Global ManagementのAdmissionから案内メールがきていたので、一部ご紹介します。私はThunderbird Global Ambassadorというボランティアですが位置づけでThunderbird Global MBAと興味ある方たちをつなげるパイプ役（仲人？）をやっています。卒業生で引き続きビジネススクールを色々な面でサポートすることができるのですが、その中の１つがこれです。本当はＭＢＡに興味ある人全員にThunderbird Global MBAに来て頂きたいのですが、でも、それは実は良くないかなぁと思っています。人それぞれフィーリングというのものがあったり、やりたいことがあってビジネススクールにいきますよね？そういったものが合致すればいいのですが、しないのを無理にお誘いすることはできません。私の役割は自分のサンダーバードでの経験を皆さんと共有することです。卒業生の立場として何が良かったか何が良くなかったのか、何が大変だったか、何が今役立っているかなどを共有します。私や他の卒業生の話を聞いて価値観が合えば更にアドミッションにコンタクトして頂ければいいでしょう。興味もないのにやみくもに受験するのは得策ではないですし、アドミッション側も分かるものです。

We recently completed our final recruitment event for the year. This past fall, we attended nearly 150 events, in 105 cities, and 39 countries! As part of these events, we were able to meet approximately two thousand prospective students. For those of you who helped out with these events, we sincerely appreciate your assistance.
In September and November, we also hosted two Thunderbird 360 Preview Weekends (previously known as Hospitality Weekends). As part of these events, we welcomed nearly 150 prospective students to preview the Thunderbird Experience. We will be hosting two 360 events in the spring Feb. 26-28, 2010 and Apr. 9-11, 2010.
